moxy62@aol.com Diane Sedgwick Stanziani is a fashion illustrator, graphic designer & a fine artist specializing in women & children. Born in 1962, the oldest of five male siblings. Choose coloring books over Barbie. In 1998 designed, illustrated & published her own coloring book. Believed in Walt Disney's theme song, "When You Wish Upon a Star", & still does. Married twenty years, she has a daughter & two teenage boys. She incorporates creative thinking, love & acceptance to difference in their daily lives. Consistantly developing her skills, she enjoys the challenge of breathing life into a garment or idea through her creative images. She enrolled at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Possessing below level skills she graduated in 1988 with award of merit A.I.P.H. standard of excellence, "Best Portfolio in Fashion Illustration". She has worked in the Fashion Illustration field for the last thirteen years. She has illustrated for Macy's in New York, numerous boutique shops, newspaper, advertising agencies, designers & manufacturing companies in Philadelphia, Montgomery County, New Jersey & Jamaica. She has run her own gallery & pursues freelance illustration jobs on a daily basis. She possesses four portfolios, women, children, image & stationery design & of course shoes. Her personal goal is to see illustrations grace the cover of fashion magazines as they did until the late 1930's. |
